Nice trip, plenty of spiky things . I think your orchid on day2/3 is Bletia not Bletilla, the latter is Asian. Interesing also to see Laelia anceps in synchronous flower in habitat with the one on my bathroom windowsill!

Yes, Bletia - someone mentioned that. I don't think it is fair that two very similar orchids have very similar names.
Incidentally, the pale agave on 13th I couldn't identify has been now identified by two reliable agave sources I know as Agave ensifera. This is *extremely* exciting as Agave ensifera has *never* been found in the wild, only known and described from botanical collections in Europe. It's original provenance lost in the mists of time.

I saw some beautiful groups of Echinocereus, mammilarias and beautiful columnar cacti which I can not describe. great pictures you show us there, thanks for the take!
