Succulent 🆔 please.
Can anyone identify this little succulent. It's spent all winter in my unheated greenhouse. It is only small, but starting to grow. It came in a job lot of baby succulents I bought.
Re: Succulent 🆔 please.
It looks like a young seed-grown mesemb but could even be a Crassula, I think you'll have to wait for a flower. Anyone else got any thoughts on this one?

Agreed
Without even any given detail on pot diameter it is difficult to assess or to determine.

The pot is tiny 6cm across. Someone has suggested Glottiphyllum?David Neville wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 1:22 am Agreed

Hi,
Yes Glottiphyllum could fit the bill! or something very similar. It might depend on how it's been grown in the past!! Lets see how you do, and the flower/s when they show.
Good growing.
Mel.

My first thought when I saw the photograph: Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei with nice, long leaves.

Thanks Mel. That's very helpful. I hope it flowers at some point. It's grown since I got it and despite the freezing temps survived.

Most of my Mesems spend Winter in a cold Greenhouse, but very dry!

I have this labelled as C. nudicaulis var. herrei LAV 29465, which seems to be a fairly good match (sorry for a photo cropped from a larger one!).
