Dirk, agreed, M. echinulatum is a superb species, with probably the weirdest/most interesting cyathia in the genus.
Pijaya, that is just crazy! I've seen habitat shots of M. spectabile in flower, but they don't look like that....I guess they appreciate the tropical heat
