Lobivia albolanata R585a
A lovely dwarf Lobivia species with a fat taproot and enormous yellow flowers, this plant isn’t as woolly as its siblings, but is the first in flower so far. Not quite fully open yet.

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

The flower is always nice (my plant's is much paler) but this plant earns its keep even out of flower - and mine isn't very woolly.
