A few more succulent classes
Bob potter came with this lovely Euphorbia, heavy to carry fouquieria purpusii has lovely patterned body The exhibitor of this flowering agave deserved a medal just for getting ti there in one piece

I've been to the Birmingham Botanic Gardens, definitely recommended. A lovely big cyphostemma ect. In the cactus house

Finally, after such a long break, an actual show. I'd worried that members might have got out of the habit of showing - it's a hard job smartening up plants for a show and there's quite a bit of work at Birmingham in carrying plants to the show hall from the car park. Luckily everyone made an effort and it was a great day and it's thanks to Fiona - Show Manager(ess) and the rest of Birmingham Branch. Thanks for posting all the photos Tina - there were some cacti there also! Re the flowering Agave, I've always thought that there should be a prize at BCSS Shows for the tallest exhibit, regardless of quality, just based on height. Something like a bottle of wine would do. Nice to have a quick glimpse of your variegated Cubic too.

Agaves, I really loved this utahensis eborispina, stunning & one i don't have 'yet'
Huge Euphorbia, it was too long a journey for me to risk big plants that could get damaged

Echinocactus group I wanted the d.horstii in this class Loved this copiapoa cinerea I did Ok in class 21 as there was no competition,
