This flower feels as though it has taken forever to open, but it was worth the wait.

I don't know the conditions you are growing your plant in, but first with that Corynopuntia and now with this Pterocactus I do find it slightly freaky how different plants of the same clone seem to go in sync... :???:

Here is my plant, in flower yesterday following a thorough spring prune:
